User Data Deletion
The platform is GDPR compliant and follows the Right to be Forgotten/Right to Erasure guidelines. In simple words, any user can request to delete their account and its data from the platform. For example, account information, health information, age, gender, email address, birth date, address, IP address, etc. All such data will be permanently deleted from the platform repository once an account is deleted. Any user can request the system administrator to delete their account from their Account Settings section.
Tutor Applicant Data
This section is exclusively for tutors using the SuikaTalk platform.
When you apply to become a tutor on SuikaTalk, we collect personal information such as your name, contact details, qualifications, and teaching experience. This information is used solely to assess your suitability for the role and is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
If your application is unsuccessful, your data will be securely deleted after a reasonable retention period, unless required by law. By submitting your application, you consent to this use of your information.
Google API
SuikaTalk's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Lesson Recording Policy
All lessons conducted on SuikaTalk are recorded. The recordings are stored securely on servers managed by Lessonspace, a partner company of SuikaTalk, for a period of 90 days. After this period, the recordings are automatically deleted. During this time, the recordings are accessible to all participants of the respective lesson.
Please be aware that recordings must not be shared with third parties without the consent of all participants in the lesson. The primary purpose of these recordings is to provide review material for both tutors and learners, support quality assurance by platform administrators, and assist with troubleshooting when necessary.
