Hi I’m Meg! I’m a certified Japanese teacher.

◎Teaching Experience
I have taught a wide range of Japanese from beginner to advance Japanese at a Japanese language school in Japan. I became a Japanese teacher right after graduating from university. I used to work at a Japanese language school in Nara specifically for students who pursue employment opportunities in Japan. I currently teach Japanese to international students at a university in Osaka.

◎About myself
I was born and raised in Kyoto. My background includes a period of residence abroad: I spent a year in Australia during my high school, followed by a semester-long exchange program in the United States. This international exposure has significantly enriched my world view and way of thinking. At university, I majored in English education and bilingualism. I’m a certified English teacher as well. If you would like to have my Japanese class in English, I can arrange that too. I’ve lived in the Kansai area for entire my life. If you are interested in Kansai dialect, I’m here for you! On the weekends, I conduct guided tours in Osaka for travelers from all over the world. I enjoy showing and guiding my favorite city.
